Puericulture Center Bares Programs

Zamboanga Puericulture Hospital is gearing to implement more dynamic and emergent programs for health, education, and enterprise, to serve the people’s needs in the city’s urban center.

Thus said hospital chairman Dr. Rodel M. Agbulos during a board meeting last week, as he summoned at the same time the board of directors of the Zamboanga Puericulture Center to adopt full measures of effective yet functioning approaches as well as relevant solutions to make Puericulture a public center of cooperation and service

“We are living up to the demands of the times, and Puericulture has been part of the development and growth of Zamboanga City, thus the need to upgrade its services and advantage by adopting significant measures in the fields of medical services, education, and even in the entrepreneurial pursuit of the residents,” Agbulos emphasized.

He revealed that among the priority programs in the drawing board are the expansion of the out-patient ward and the relocation of the operating and delivery rooms.

Agbulos said there is a primodial need to expand the wards as well as the operating and delivery rooms and equip the same with modern medical equipment to serve the people even better.

He also presented the blueprint to offer midwifery course in said institution that is slated to open on June 2010, as well as the plan to acquire a multi-million property to establish a decent learning environment for the Puericulture Kindergarten School in Tetuan.

“A wholistic formula will give the people better benefits. Puericulture Center symbolizes traditional way of helping people, but we also need to embrace sound and forward-looking concept of service, if only the tradition and legacy of service that Puericulture is known for will be appreciated further,” Agbulos said.
